Interview: Prince of Petworth

In the September/October 2007 issue of the Grant Circular, we featured the news blog Petworth News (http://petworthnews.blogs.com) and continuing in that series, we take a look at the very popular Prince of Petworth blog (http://www.princeofpetworth.com). The Prince of Petworth (Dan Silverman or PoP as the creator and personality behind the blog is known) started the site in November 2006 and its popularity has steadily grown to up to 1000 visitors a day.

Moroni and Brothers Pizza

Several months ago I was greeted at Moroni and Brothers Pizza with a Hola. Como está? Bienvenida!  "Wait,” I thought, “isn’t this an Italian brick oven pizza shop?”  I was puzzled by the unusual mix of gourmet pizza and Salvadorian specialties, reggaton blaring from the kitchen and a jumble of paintings, prints and framed magazine cut outs on the walls.  “The pizza is awesome, but they need some change," I said to myself.
